Etched Leather w/ Cut Outs

Etched Leather with Cut-Outs require a $0.50 upcharge due to the extra labor and potential for two production lines. Regardless of whether the order needs to go through two production lines or just one, we can f0llow this process to charge the customer appropriately.

PROCESSING ORDERS FOR CUT OUT LEATHER:

1. Use 91-APPGLHR or 91-APPFLHR as your primary SKU, and use 91-LTHRCUTOUT for the upcharge (no need to edit the description of 91-LTHRCUTOUT in SAP)

2. For your primary decoration SKU, you will list your design notes, fill out your leather dropdowns, and select the main application method (SE vs. SL vs. SH)

See below for examples of orders that do and do not require the second production line

3. If your order does not require a second production line, click Delete Block for the 91-LTHRCUTOUT SKU (next to where the sequence boxes would be). Don't worry, you can readd it if needed!

4. If your order does require a second production line, or you are unsure if it will:
- Match your Design Type, Repeat Ref. #, and Position to the details in Dec Block #1
- Set your Production Line to SH for 91-LTHRCUTOUT
- Leave the leather dropdowns blank
- Edit design notes to simply say:
Etched Leather Cut Out Upcharge
Double production line

5. Scheduling may delete the block for the second production line if they determine it will not need to go through both stitch and heat, or may re-add the block if they feel like it will need to go through two prod lines.

Reference the examples below for how the application method should be called out on the design proof.

DESIGNS REQUIRING TWO PRODUCTION LINES:

Specialty Embroidery and Specialty Heat
These notches are likely to lift and will need to be reinforced on SH

Stitch Lined Applied & Specialty Heat
This circle shape is likely to lift and will need to be reinforced on SH

DESIGNS REQUIRING ONLY ONE PRODUCTION LINE:

Specialty Heat Only
Designs being applied exclusively on SH do not require two production lines because there is only one production line..

Machine Stitch Only
I believe a small cutout like this would not require two production lines. There are no notches or elements that would lift or peel up. If this was faux leather, we may want to do the double production line since the faux leather material isn't as stiff as Genuine

Same with this example -

DESIGNS THAT I WAS SURPRISED TO SEE WORK WITH CUT OUTS:

This one felt a little like a jedi mind trick, but the key to the success of this logo are the tiny little connectors. Otherwise, the diamond with RRR would fall out -

If anyone saw a sample of this, please let me (Rian) know how it looked. I would not recommend this design due to the difficulty of lining of that stitching perfectly. It would probably be easier to apply on Stitch Line, and I would think this should have gone through SH as well-

And this, on a beanie no less... given that beanies cannot go through SH, I would not recommend this design but it was done for the employee store and it turned out great -
