Discount Types on Sales Orders in SAP

Discount Type is found on the Accounting Tab of a Sales Order. Utilize Discount Type in the following situations:

AL (American Legion Royalty) - if processing an American Legion order and charging the royalty

D (Donation) - for orders being donated at no cost or a discounted cost

L (Less Than Minimum Charge) - for blank orders receiving the $10.00 LTM fee

P (Programs and Promotions) - for orders with a promo code (except REPSAMPLE) and CUOF orders receiving free freight 

PS (Pre-Production Samples) - for pre-production decorated samples

Q (Quantity Discount) - for E-Commerce account orders that meet the requirements to receive the extra 5% discount

R (Replacement / Defectives) - for no cost or discounted replacements (blank and decorated) due to defective product. Also use R when giving Free Freight as a customer courtesy

S (Samples) - for 30% discounted and no cost blank samples, and orders with promocode REP SAMPLE
