Embroidered Patches

CAT DM/CAT Diesel Patches – in stock in Oregon – do not change

Direct Embroidery

Front Embroidery often matches the back mesh so it is not always the PMS 123 (see 8443586 where it is called out as PMS 1235 to match the mesh)

When it does need to be CAT’s approved Yellow, it needs to be called out as PMS 123 (see proofs above for back emb call out, 8431379-1,4)

Woven Patches

8380582-1 was approved per CAT ------------- GS 2313 - PMS 1235 C

Sublimated Patches

8399865-1 was approved per CAT --- proof shows “Sublimated” with no call outs

This updated proof shows the color call out as PMS 123 and should still be matched to what was produced on 8399865-1. Please see Grace for questions.

R marks need to be visible and always added after the CAT logo unless specified otherwise

CAT Brand Compliance Samples

All New or Repeat w/ cap change CAT orders require Brand Compliance Samples of the completed Good Cap to be sent to BDA before the full order is produced. This is most applicable to Direct Embroidery, CAT DM/Diesel Power Embroidered Patches (because we keep them in stock), and Etched Leather Appliques as they can be produced in house.

New or Repeat w/cap change CAT orders with outsourced decorations still need Brand Compliance samples, but BDA has agreed to approve the vendor supplied patch pictures, knowing that things should not need to change at that point, but we will if we need. If the order has a side/back embroidery, we will sew out on a Good Cap and send that picture for approval as well. Postproduction pictures of the completed cap are sent to BDA day of shipping for final approval, but they know changes cannot be made at that point.
